Tropical Sun American pre-fluffed easy cook rice is steamed before milling which allow the rice to harden. Therefore it is less sticky and the grains remain separate when cooking. This process also helps the rice retain much of its nutritional content, which is normally lost during cooking. Enjoy!

Directions for use

Cooking Instructions

For four people, measure 250g of rice. Wash the rice in cold water until the water runs clear. Place the rice in a saucepan. Add 750ml of water to the rice. If desired, add 1 teaspoon salt or a pat of butter. Cover the saucepan and bring the rice to boil. Continue boiling covered until the top water has disappeared and the rice begins to separate (it will appear as if there are holes forming in the rice). Keep the rice covered and reduce heat. Leave to cook for a further 15-20 minutes. After cooking, allow the rice to stand covered for 2 to 5 minutes. Then fluff the rice with a fork and serve.
