Just place four heaped teaspoons in a jug and add hot water. Like your gravy thicker? That's easy – just add more granules, safe in the knowledge that it's low fat and low in sugar.

Potato Starch, Maltodextrin, Palm Fat, Salt, Wheat Flour (with added Calcium, Iron, Niacin, Thiamin), Flavouring, Sugar, Flavour Enhancers (Monosodium Glutamate, Disodium 5'-Ribonucleotides), Colour (Ammonia Caramel), Emulsifier ( Soya Lecithin), Black Pepper Extract, Sage Extract, Onion Oil, Rosemary Extract.

Directions for use

1 Put 4 heaped teaspoons (20g) of Bisto granules into a measuring jug - for extra thick gravy, add more granules at this point.

2 Add 280ml (1/2 pint) of boiling water to the granules.

3 Stir vigorously and continually until you get a smooth gravy.
